does not know how to handle nice things

I took two semi-formal dresses to Troy Cleaners several years ago which were returned ruined. There was no longer any sheen, sequin embellishments were gone and when I took the clothes back the store said that there was nothing they could do about it and refused to refund for the cleaning, much less pay for the ruined dresses. This past week I sent my husband to take our $200 comforter (quite an expense for newly weds) to be cleaned and he unknowingly took it to Troy Cleaners. When I picked it up all of the stuffing was at one end and my husband informed me that they made him sign a waiver stating that they were not responsible for any damages- a big warning sign. Don't take your clothes or any other items to Troy Cleaners because they will not return usable and the staff could care less.
Avoid at all cost

I took an outfit to be cleaned at Troy Cleaners on a Wednesday. I went back to pick it up on a Friday but I did not look at the outfit until Sunday when I was about to wear it to church. When I took the plastic off I noticed black streaks down the front of the outfit, it looked as though it was burned. I went to the cleaners on Tuesday and tried to speak with theowner about the outfit. If I would have known she was that rude and unprofessional I would not have wasted my time and definately not have taken my clothing there. She stated that there was nothing she could do about it and nothing gets burned at her store, and she does not even know if the outfit was cleaned there. I just wanted to scream, because I am standing there holding the receipt. To make a long story short, she does not stand behind her work. I told her that I will be taking her to small claims court and she said go right ahead because she has been before and it's not going to stand in court beacause of her policy. At that point I knew what I was up against, I said you mean to tell me that you have been to court before,so that further lets me know how you operate your business. SO IF YOU DONT WANT THE DRAMA PLEASE TAKE YOUR CLOTHING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!
